Prompt/Question: "Muse, how many languages can you speak?"

...

I'm not the woman to talk languages with. I was never one to know many in the unit. Sargeant was better at it, but I'll cave anyway. I know both English and Spanish quite well. I've also picked up some ASL in the past when I briefly befriended a deaf girl but I think I've forgotten a chunk of it after I entered the Army. At the very basic level, I know some Italian and Portuguese and just a few sentences in Japanese and Korean, all from hearing. Writing it or stringing a coherent sentence is a different thing entirely.

I was never one to speak a lot anyways, I guess gestures and actions speak universally. I think that's the best language.

Prompt/Question: "Make a list of the Muses' crimes."

Right, so let's have a brief overview of Jackal's crimes and sins. She has not been found guilty of any of these, neither has she ever been arrested, as no one knows where to even begin looking and some of these incidents are kept hush-hush. Note that I am not opposed to RPing jail scenarios with other muses in the future! Now, I'm going to keep these in simple terms and not technical at all. Who here has time for legal speak anyways! This will give you an idea of her track record.

- Arsonism.
- Murder.
- Bombing.
- Transportation of drug.
- Possession of drugs (she does not consume exactly).
- Kidnapping (don't be alarmed, it was not without its reason).
- Bank robbery.
- Breaking and Entering (... D'uh?).
- Burglary.
- Stealing, evidently.
- Illegal gambling.
- Destruction of government/public property.
- Racketeering (Still up for debate).
- Obstruction of justice.
- Underground fighting (Oh, i'll write about this don't worry).
- Contract Killing (Worked as a hitman once or twice, connected to murder and arson, too).
- Bribery.

This is definitely up to par with her life and career. She's had brush ins with motorcycle gangs, organized crime, petty gangster from the street, the more well known gangs, shady rings from corporations, the undergrounds life of big cities she visits.

Prompt/Question: "Muse, tell us about... skills that you had in the past. "

You're gonna let me do the talking? Shit...

I'm not very good at expressing myself anymore. I used to be really good, too, back in high school. Joined the literature club, wrote a few pieces, won second place in a competition or two. But that didn't shine for my future, not to my family. Ever since I got into the marines pieces of that self-expressive hobby started to die, and when I got in the unit it became increasingly harder to express myself outside of the circle. Slowly but surely life has made sure that we all got close enough to shut out the world around us, then try to kill us off one by one.

I didn't die, but something sure as hell died in me with them. One of the things that died with them was my desire to even explain to people how I feel. I guess this is my attempt to rekindle with that part of me, in hopes that I'll find it again. We'll see.

Prompt/Question: "Write something with the theme of Jail/Prison."

Place: Imprisoned.
Time: During Jackal's time in the YELLOW JACKS. Unspecified mission.
Content warnings: Implied torture.

The pain and soreness existed in Jackal's body and any normal human would be debilitated thinking about it, but she choose to ignore it like she was trained to do. Her eyes fixated beyond the bars of the cell, staring at the dirty wall right outside; her ears tuning into the lazy footstep of the guard that meandered to and fro without purpose. But beyond that, she was looking for something. Going beyond the walls, she could very faintly hear the vibrations of the outside world, the feet stomping, the ghostly essence of chatter, the plans to keep a high alert on the premises as two more suspicious subjects and a traitor ran among them.

Jackal knew it then, her friends -- er, teammates -- had been seen, yet not caught. It took her sacrifice for them to run unscathed and it would only take a few more minutes (precious, precious minute that Jackal counted in silence) before they realized that they were scattering to search for an intruder while their precious vault laid defiled and open, three important classified documents missing entirely. When they were so busy throwing water buckets to Jackal, electrifying her in hopes of getting information out of her without killing her, Panther and Lion were doing exactly what Jackal had planned for them to do.

If she was not mistaken, her boys would be far from the premises; the search attempts from the folks out there would be futile. Now, it was up to her to time her escape all on her own. The guard hadn't realized his mistake, rhythmically following his routine with only half of his mind focused on his patrol, his watch dictating the next course of action like clockwork -- opening the opportunity for Jackal to break this rhythm. A rhythm so fatally mundane.

It wouldn't take long for Jackal to raise, still feeling her skin burnt, ignoring the drying blood and the fact that her weapons had been confiscated. Armed with nothing but sore knuckles, her wit and a fiery determination, Jackal waited for that fatal moment the guard's rhythm would waltz him right into her claws...

His fatal rhythm, the mistake of turning his back to the prisoner he did not even notice was standing ominously by the cell's bars. All it took for Jackal was to stick her arms out. A hand on his chin, another one on the back of his head. Enough to surprise him, enough to get him to fumble.

The silence of the prison was only interrupted by the muffled sound of a neck breaking and the subsequent thud of a heavy soldier hitting the floor.

Click, clack.

The cell door slid open and the captured Jackal ran for her freedom.

Prompt/Question: "Is your muse inclined to take orders or disregard them?"

Absolutely disregard them. Maybe in her time in the military she followed orders and was conditioned to follow them, but after the entire shitshow went down with the Yellow Jacks getting absolutely decimated she completely told the orders to fuck off. Even then, prior to that event (as mentioned somewhere in the main dossiers) there was a mission that led to the CORE TEN to slowly begin to question everything. There's gotta be some mystery, so I won't reveal why that is. Way before Jackal even joined the military, she had a penchant for disobeying and rebellion, even if it was subtle at times so this isn't nothing new, just a natural progression of her nature, I suppose.

It was just a matter of time before she started to disregard orders again, and when it happened it blew up immediately. She hasn't gone back since.
